Power Up the hot story

The Lost Locket is the first in a series by Marie that kind of takes off where Circe's Recruits and Dawn Endeavor series ended. Members of the PWP have move to Bend, OR and are keeping busy running a gym which covers as a base of operation for their new work as civilians. The gym also lets them work off their excess psychic energies.

Keegan and James have been friends from the first time they meet, making them work partners. And they couldn't be any more different than night and day. Keegan is the long, tall, built and buff Texas sweetheart and James is as Keegan calls him, Mr. GQ. They get sent a what is suppose to be a simple retrieval job across country to find a girl and the locket they are to bring back. And in this tale, this is where they take that next step into a stronger and more physical relationship. While this is easier for James since he's lusted after Keegan forever and has always loved both sexes, Keegan is still fighting his attraction to James.

When they get to where they're suppose to be to find the girl who has the item they need to retrieve, they both realize that maybe there's suppose to be a third in their little mix. But for James, he's knows that Rory is as wary about any relationship with the two of them as Keegan still is with the still new relationship with him.

This story is their journey past insecurities and into love. The sex scenes are the usual hotness you expect from Marie. But for me I loved the story itself, the difference in the characters in this love triangle and the evolving relationships.

While this is the first in a series, these books can stand alone and do not need to be read in any particular order.http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Locket-Power-story-ebook/dp/B004UI6HNM/ref=pd_sim_kstore_1

Tara Lain Sweet

Hearts and Flour (Kindle Edition)
I am always waiting for Tara's next book set in Laguna Beach. While this one isn't part of the "Balls" series, it still has the same great quirky characters that all of the books in this setting do. And that is what I love most about these books. The sense of community and friends that live in these books.

A troubled childhood has Micah living his life under tight health conscious control, not leaving much room for other's non-healthy life styles. After a crap-tastic day of his best customers coming to his raw food store with (gasp) cupcakes, finding his boyfriend in his bed with someone not him and kicking him out..well maybe it's time to go to an Anti-Valentine's day party and drown his sorrows in some organic wine.

Quentin with his Grandma Mary Beth have just moved to Laguna Beach from the South, where gay gentlemen don't come out to anyone. Even their very loving, hip Grandmas. And starting over with a cupcake bakery using Mary Beth's recipes, he still thinks he needs to keep his secret. Which he has always hidden using a drag persona named Queen. And it's as Queen he attends and catches the eye of Micah at the Anti-Valentine party.

What follows are misunderstandings, blackmail, re-evaluations of beliefs and reveling of secrets on a path to love. This is just a sweet story that touches your heart, like all of Tara's stories do. Her characters are warm, real people who are learning life lesson as you read their journeys to their happily ever after.
